The honorary co-workers of the District Museum of Währing have always an open ear for your questions and suggestions. Come to the museum, call us or send us an E-Mail.

We are anxious to document the history of our district as accurately as possible – with your help.

We are looking for old letters, newspaper clippings, pamphlets, photographs, old postcards, paintings, objects, books…

Further we are interested in biographies, personal experiences and impressions of all „Währinger“ (all residents including those born elsewhere). Write it down and bring it to the museum or send it per E-Mail. We look forward to hearing from you.

And if you have time and are interested in the history of Währing you might want to – on a voluntary basis – work with us? That would be highly appreciated.
